Head of the Palangka Raya Police Narcotics Investigation Unit AKP Agung Wijaya Kusuma, said the arrests were made on Wednesday (19/3/2025) at around 00.10 WIB at a barracks on Jalan Mendawai I Gang Bersama, Palangka Village, Jekan Raya District.
"This disclosure began with a public report regarding the existence of narcotics buying and selling activities at that location. The team then conducted an investigation and succeeded in securing the suspect along with a number of evidences," Agung said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 21.

In addition, the police also confiscated Rp400 thousand in cash which was suspected of being the result of drug transactions and other people.
When questioned, the suspect admitted that all the evidence belonged to him.
"The current IL has also been charged with Article 114 paragraph (2) Sub-Article 112 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a maximum penalty of 20 years and a maximum fine of Rp. 10 billion," he said.
Agung added that his party is currently developing a case to uncover a wider network of narcotics trafficking.
"This arrest is part of our ongoing efforts to eradicate narcotics trafficking in Palangka Raya City," he explained.
