The National Police Chief Calls The Ramadan Safari Strengthening The Synergy Of The TNI-Polri, Ulama To The Community

JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo attended the Ramadan safari which was held at the Yogyakarta Special Region Police (DIY) on Friday, March 28 evening.

"Alhamdulillah, today we were able to carry out Ramadan safari activities at the Yogyakarta Police Headquarters," Sigit said, quoting Antara.

Sigit hopes that this activity will also strengthen the synergy between the TNI and Polri, ulama, and the community. In addition, it is hoped that this moment of togetherness will also strengthen cooperation in the midst of the 2025 Eid homecoming period.

"We hope that the synergy will continue to strengthen between the National Police and the TNI and clerical leaders, the community. We hope that this activity will bring benefits and increase the synergy between the TNI-Polri and the community, Umara, and ulama," he said.

The Ramadan safari is also filled with iftar activities together. Before the iftar event together, the activity was filled with tausiyah of Nahdlatul Ulama cleric, KH Ahmad Mufawif (Gus Muwafiq).

In the event, the National Police Chief also provided compensation to six orphans as representatives.

The handover of aid was accompanied by the Yogyakarta Regional Police Chief, Brigadier General Pol. Anggoro Sukartono. Also present at the event were a number of the main officials (PJU) of the National Police Headquarters and the Yogyakarta Regional Police.

The event was also attended by a number of leaders of Islamic boarding schools (ponpes), including KH Mu'tashim Billah and Gus Muhammad Nahdy from Ponpes Sunan Pandanaran Sleman, Kh Chaidar Muhaimin and KH Ahmad Shidqi Masyhuri from Ponpes Al Munawwir Krapyak, KH Haedar Nashir Chairman of PP Muhammadiyah.

Then KH Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman from Ponpes Ora Aji, Kiai Muktaf Ajib from Ponpes An-Nadwah, Ustaz Nurhaj Mabruri from Ponpes Nurul Falah Gunung Kidul, Ustaz Ulil Albab from Ponpes Al-l'anah Gunung Kidul, H Setiawan Prasetyo and Ustaz Fauzi Ahmat from Sleman, Family of Prof. Dr. H Ahmad Syafii Maarif, and other scholars.
