KPK Finds Out About EDC Procurement At Pertamina Gas Stations Through Ex-Boss Of PT Pacific Cipta Solusi

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the procurement of electronic data capture (EDC) for electronic payment receipts when the general fuel station digitization project (SPBU) is carried out.

This step was taken by examining Elvizar, who is the former Director of PT Pasicif Cipta Solusi for the 2019-2024 period. He was questioned as a witness in the corruption case of the PT Pertamina (Persero) gas station digitization project at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta on Wednesday, March 19.

"The witness was investigated regarding the process of procuring EDC equipment as part of the gas station digitization project," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, March 20.

Elvizar has the status of a suspect in this case, based on the information gathered. In addition, the anti-corruption commission also determined DR and W from PT Telkom (Persero).

Currently, all three have been prevented from leaving the country for six months. The KPK requested the prohibition of traveling to the Directorate General of Immigration to facilitate investigations.

Previously reported, the KPK is again investigating allegations of corruption at PT Pertamina (Persero). This time, the connection with the digitization project of public refueling stations (SPBU) allegedly occurred in 2019-2023.

To investigate this case, the anti-corruption commission has issued an investigation warrant (sprindik) in September 2024. Three suspects have been named.
