JAKARTA - Two suspects in the case of packaging Oilita with inappropriate doses, namely the President Director (Director) of PT Jaya Batavia Globalindo with the initials RS and a company operator with the initials IH, face a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a fine of Rp. 2 billion.
West Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Twedi Aditya Bennyhadi revealed that the two were charged with Article 120 of Law Number 3 of 2014 concerning Industry and Article 62 paragraph 1 of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. The sentence includes a maximum imprisonment of five years or a maximum fine of IDR 2 billion.
"We apply Article 120 of the Industrial Law and Article 62 paragraph 1 of the Consumer Protection Law with a maximum prison sentence of five years or a fine of up to Rp. 2 billion," said Kombes Pol Twedi at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday, March 19.

"All evidence has been secured for further investigation," added Kombes Pol Twedi.
