JAKARTA - The police finally managed to reveal the identity of the Porsche car driver who barged into the busway lane and went viral. This incident came to light after the police conducted a series of investigations.

Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Director Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo said the initial investigation was carried out by checking CCTV on Transjakarta buses.

"We interrogated the Transjakarta bus driver, even though he did not memorize it and did not clearly explain his police number (the Porsche police number)," Sambodo said in Jakarta, Monday, April 26.

Then, his party conducted checks on a number of CCTV. From here, his party managed to get the initial data on the car caught on the ETLE camera.

"We make sure that the B 2204 Porsche Boxter that we are looking for and find the address is, investigators, on Saturday came to the owner's house and made a confiscation of the vehicle," he said.

Sambodo said that initially no one acknowledged who was driving the car at the time of the incident. They said their families took turns using the Porsche.

However, after the police showed the screenshot evidence they could not escape. The driver is their son. A woman with the initials AS and a student.

"The one driving the vehicle at the time of the incident was the child of the car owner, namely a woman with the initials AS," he said.

For his actions, the police charged the US with Article 287 Paragraph 1 of Law Number 22 Year 2009 concerning Traffic and Transportation with a maximum imprisonment of two months or a maximum fine of Rp. 500 thousand.

"Then we asked the person concerned to make a statement letter not to repeat his actions," he said.
