JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has officially implemented a talent management program for state civil servants (ASN) within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. This was ratified in the Decree of the Head of the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) Number 47 of 2025.
Head of BKN Zudan Arif Fakhrulloh explained, in the talent management program, the DKI Provincial Government no longer needs to conduct an open auction to fill the vacant position of high leadership in Jakarta. ASN who are considered superior competitive will fill the required position.
"So, in the future, the Governor in DKI does not need any more open bidding because the implementation of talent management to prepare the ASN is ready or prepared to sit in positions in the DKI provincial government," said Zudan at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, March 17.
Zudan said that BKN has agreed that the DKI Provincial Government is a government agency that already has a good score to implement talent management for its ASN. Thus, Zudan hopes that this program can increase the productivity of DKI ASN to work more optimally.
"Not only its performance, but its productivity has increased. Productivity is measured from input with the output obtained. The less input, the greater the output, the more productive it will be. This can be bridged by the implementation of talent management," he said.
Continuing, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung admitted that currently there are a number of positions of echelon II-level officials such as the head of the service who is still empty and filled by the executor of the task (Plt). With talent management, Pramono will appoint ASN-ASN who will fill the void.
"Earlier I reported to the Head of BKN, after Eid, I will definitively determine all PLT-PLT in Jakarta. Of course, who will be the authority, actually the Governor together with the team that I will make for it," said Pramono.
On the one hand, Pramono hopes that talent management can realize Jakarta's hopes of being included in the list of 50 global cities. Currently, Jakarta is still in the position of 74 of the 156 global cities.
