YOGYAKARTA - Bank BJB, or PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat and Banten Tbk. (BJBR), officially appointed Yusuf Saadudin as Director in Lieu of the President Director after Yuddy Renaldi resigned on March 4, 2025.

This appointment was announced in the disclosure of information submitted to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on March 13, 2025. This step was taken to ensure the continuity of the bank's leadership and operations continued to run well.

The decision regarding the appointment of Yusuf Saadudin was made in a board of directors meeting which was held on March 11, 2025. In the meeting, the board of directors considered a memo from the Board of Commissioners of the Company No.22/DKO/M/2025 which was issued on March 10, 2025. Based on these considerations, Yusuf Saadudin was appointed to carry out his role as Director in Lieu of the President Director of the Company.

Despite the change of leadership, the nomenclature of Yusuf Saadudin's position still refers to the Decree of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders Number 63 which was set on October 22, 2024. This confirms that even though there are changes in the leadership structure, the policies that have been previously determined remain valid in order to maintain organizational stability.

Berdasarkan informasi dari situs resmi BJBR, Yusuf Saadudin lahir di Bandung, Jawa Barat, pada tahun 1973. Ia menyelesaikan pendidikan Sarjana Accountanti di Universitas Padjadjaran pada tahun 1999 dan melanjutkan program Magister Hukum Ekonomi dan Bisnis di universitas yang sama hingga pulasi pada tahun 2015.

Prior to his position as Director of Consumer and Retail at Bank BJB, Yusuf had extensive experience in the banking industry. He served as Head of the BJB Bank KPR & KKB Division in the 2019-2021 period and later became the Head of the BJB Bank Consumer Credit Division from 2021 to July 2024. His long experience in the banking sector, especially in the field of consumer and retail credit, made him a trusted figure to fill important positions in Bank BJB.

Regarding the change in leadership at BJBR, the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, said that the dynamics that occurred in Bank BJB must be used as a positive momentum to make improvements. He emphasized that even though there are legal cases being handled by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), this is more personal and should not interfere with services to the community and customers.

Dedi also highlighted the importance of ensuring that Bank BJB institutions continue to function optimally in serving various regulations and community financial needs. According to him, this change should be used as an opportunity to make improvements, restructuring, and reallocation of financing so that Bank BJB can further develop and provide better services to the community.

The West Java Provincial Government also emphasized that it respects the ongoing legal process and sees it as an opportunity to conduct an internal evaluation.

Governor Dedi Mulyadi hopes that the case involving Bank BJB can be a valuable lesson in strengthening more transparent and accountable corporate governance. Thus, Bank BJB can continue to develop as a financial institution that is trusted by the community and contributes to regional economic growth.
