JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung promised to recover hundreds of thousands of Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus recipients whose receipts had been revoked in the second phase of 2024 distribution will soon be carried out.
"A data update will be carried out. Indeed, there is an extraordinary decrease from before. We will return it to approximately 705 (one thousand) people who will receive it. Yesterday it was 525 (one thousand), it went down," said Pramono at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, March 12.
The disbursement of KJP to students who were dropped from the list of recipients of the education assistance, Pramono confirmed, will be carried out before Eid al-Fitr 1446 H.
This also applies to around 15 thousand students who received the Jakarta Superior Student Card (KJMU) to be revoked in 2024.
"So it has been decided, hopefully by the end of March, before Eid, we can distribute it," explained Pramono.
In addition, the DKI Provincial Government will also start to open a complaint post for the distribution of KJP Plus in each sub-district office. So, residents can file complaints regarding KJP without the need to visit the Office of the Center for Personal Funding and Education Operations (P4OP) of the DKI Provincial Education Office in Jatinegara, East Jakarta.
"It has been decided, all 44 sub-districts will have a place of complaint. So this is effective in March, now the data has been entered and I have decided that 705,000 will receive it," explained Pramono.

The distribution of KJP Plus phase II 2024 sparked protests from the public. Many student families objected because previously they were registered as recipients in stage I, but no longer received the education assistance in stage II.
This decrease is due to budget constraints in the APBD. The provincial government prioritizes KJP recipients based on the ranking of welfare, so that a number of students who are considered not to be included in the priority are removed from the list of recipients.
After receiving many complaints, the DKI DPRD urged that the revoked KJP be restored. After being inaugurated as Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pamono also promised to restore the revocation of the KJP.
