JAKARTA Advisor to Golkar Party's Balitbang Expert, Henry Indraguna, believes that the Crown Prince of the Surakarta Palace, KGPAA Hamangkunegoro,'s concern over Indonesia's situation through the upload 'Nyesel Joins the Republic' reflects the real losses of the people.

"We heard the crown prince's voice and understood the reason. The corruption case at Pertamina clearly disappointed the people very much. The upload was born from unrest over various problems that harm the people," he said in a written statement, Sunday, March 9, 2025.

Moreover, the Solo Raya area has also been exacerbated by the mass layoffs of 10 thousand Sritex workers which can trigger an increase in the number of new unemployment and poverty. Not to mention the corruption of tin Rp271 trillion which robs the people of natural resources.

"The most obvious thing to feel by the Kasunanan Palace is that the promise of the Special Region of Surakarta which was promised since 1946 has not been realized. Even efforts to make things happen are not visible. The Republic leaves the palace and the people of Solo without the expected privilege," said Henry.

Therefore, he admitted that he could understand the crown prince's anxiety and asked the government to respond wisely. The crown prince's criticism is a real call for the republic to return to favor the people, considering that the people are actually owners of the republic.

"Even that once they are elected as state managers and kings who have passed down to serve culture and territory, they actually still have to provide services to the people as their orders and oaths," he added.

Henry emphasized that the upload was not a rejection of the Republic of Indonesia, but a call for the promise of independence not only to be a slogan.

"The people who are disadvantaged must be heard, but we still uphold unity. This is the time to act real," he said.
