In the villages of Karangligar and Sukamakmur, 449 houses were still flooded with heights varying between 20-200 centimeters.

A total of 556 families consisting of 1,738 people affected by flooding in the two villages, while of the thousands of affected residents, 713 people were still displaced.

They fled to safer places, such as village offices, mosques, and tents built on the side of the road.

Over the past few days, floods in Karawang have hit 15 villages/kelurahan spread across five sub-districts, including Karangligar Village, Parungsari, Mekarmulya, Mulyajaya, and Wanakerta (West Telukjambe District).

In Telukjambe Timur District, floods hit Sukamakmur and Purwadana villages, Pangkalan sub-districts including Mulangsari, Ciptasari, Tamansari, and Tamanmekar villages, West Karawang sub-districts including Tanjungmekar and Karawang Kulon sub-districts, while Pakisjaya sub-districts include Telukbuyung and Telukjaya villages.

In the 15 villages/kelurahan, it was recorded that the residents affected by the flood reached 7,513 families with 23,541 people, while the houses were submerged by 6,401 units.
