DENPASAR - Bali Governor I Wayan Koster responded to the release of the Gilimanuk-Menwi Toll Road project from the list of National Strategic Projects (PSN) signed by President Prabowo Subianto.
Governor Koster said the construction of the Gilimanuk- Mengwi Toll Road was still being programmed, but there was still an evaluation of the toll route.
"It's still being programmed. Because there is an evaluation of the route," said Koster, Friday, March 7.
Koster answered briefly when asked if the Gilimanuk- Mengwi Toll Road was still running.
He stated that the toll road program was still running and his party was still optimistic about the construction of the Gilimanuk- Mengwi Toll Road.
"This program is still running. Yes (optimistic)," said Koster.
Previously, President Prabowo Subianto set 77 national strategic projects (PSN) included in the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN), and in 77 PSN, the Gilimanuk-Menwi toll road project was not on the list.
