Baru Jabat Gubernur, Pramono Harapan Jakarta Kembali Raih WTP Dari BPK Ked8 Kalinya

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung hopes that the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government can achieve the title of Unqualified (WTP) in the 2024 financial report from the DKI Jakarta Representative Audit Agency (BPK).

As is known, the DKI Provincial Government has received its seventh WTP opinion from 2017 to 2023. If it is returned, the DKI Provincial Government will get the eighth WTP title.

This was revealed by Pramono in the acada for submitting the results of the examination of the DKI Jakarta Representative BPK in Semester II in 2024.

"Jakarta has been around for seven years in a row, WTP. Earlier, Bang Dul joked, we haven't worked yet, maybe WTP too. It's only been two days since the flood has been WTP, especially if it's really working," said Pramono at the BPK Building, Jalan MT Haryono, South Jakarta, Wednesday, March 5.

Pramono claims that he will maintain openness in the management of the DKI Provincial Government's budget during his leadership for the next five years. Because according to him, transparency is the key word for making improvements in Jakarta.

"Because the era has become an era of openness for all of us. For that, I also ask regional officials in this case Jakarta, then also BUMD Directors and existing ranks including hospitals to really work transparently," said Pramono.

Apart from BPK, Pramono also hopes that the DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office will also closely monitor the work programs and governance of the DKI Provincial Government during his administration.

"Moreover, Mr. Kajati was present today, sir, please look closely at Jakarta, because we want to work transparently and openly," said Pramono.

On that occasion, Pramono also congratulated the new Head of the DKI Jakarta BPK Representative Office, M. Ali Asyhar. Ali replaces Ayub Amali who has served as Head of the DKI Jakarta BPK Representative from 2022 to 2025.

Ali previously served as Head of South Kalimantan BPK Representatives to the Head of Central Kalimantan BPK Representatives. From his track record, Pramono did not doubt Ali's capabilities.

"He is extraordinary. He has been the Head of Representatives four times, but in places that are far from the center of power. He can enter the center of power, if it is not close to power, it is impossible," he explained.
