Floods In Puncak Bogor Surut, 1 Victim Died Found

Head of the Emergency and Logistics Division of the Bogor Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Adam Hamdani said a joint team from BPBD, Fire Service, TNI, Polri and Bogor Police found one victim dead face down at Ciawi Dam, Ciliwung River, Megamendung District at around 10.15 WIB.

As previously reported, heavy rains that flushed the Bogor Regency area caused flooding in Retired Village, Tugu Selatan Village, Cisarua District, on Sunday (2/3/2025) night. A total of 423 residents were affected by the overflow of the Ciliwung River into settlements.

High intensity rain began to fall since 20.30 WIB and caused water to overflow into people's homes around the river.

"Due to heavy rains with high intensity, the Ciliwung River flow overflowed into people's homes around the river," said Adam.

Banjir di Puncak Bogor tersebut merendam tiga rukun tetangga (RT) dengan total 119 keluarga. Periinciannya, RT 01 sebanyak 54 keluarga atau 198 jiwa, RT 02 sebanyak 27 keluarga atau 98 jiwa, dan RT 03 sebanyak 38 keluarga atau 127 jiwa. Selain merendam permukiman, banjir juga menyebabkan empat orang mengalami luka-luka.

“Luka ringan ada empat orang. Korban sudah dibawa ke RSPG dr Goenawan,” tambah Adam.

Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto previously said that the total number of residents affected by the disaster in Cisarua, Puncak Bogor reached 486 people, with 204 of them displaced. Until now, BPBD and related officials are still making efforts to recover and deal with the impact of disasters.
