Pramono Says The PDIP Regional Head Has Not Yet Participated In The Retret Will Follow In The Second Wave

JAKARTA - Senior PDI-P politician (PDIP) Pramono Anung said regional heads from his party who had not participated in the retreat in Magelang would follow.

Pramono emphasized that this decision was the result of coordination with PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.

"I always communicate with the DPP and Bu Mega, so those who have not taken part in the retreat will join the second wave," Pramono said when met at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, March 3.

It is known, not all regional heads from PDIP finally came to the Magelang Military Academy to attend the briefing.

Later, the regional head of PDIP who has not taken part in the retreat will join the second batch of retrets with regional heads who will be sworn in after the results of the 2024 regional election dispute at the Constitutional Court (MK) are completed.

It is known that Pramono Anung and a number of regional heads from PDIP finally took part in a retreat in Magelang, Central Java on Monday, February 24, when the debriefing activity was running on the fourth day.

PDIP spokesman Ahmad Basarah said that the departure of Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung and regional heads from his party to take part in a retreat in Magelang, Central Java, was known by PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri.

They joined after Megawati issued daily instructions for regional heads from her party to postpone departure.

"The presence of Mr. Pramono and his regional heads from the PDI-P at the retreat event in Magelang has been known and reported to the General Chairperson of the PDI-P and other PDI-P DPP administrators," Basarah said at a press conference at the PDIP DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, February 25.

Pramono also received a special assignment from Megawati as the coordinator of the regional head from PDIP. He was asked to communicate with the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) and his deputy.

"In taking technical steps in the field, Mr. Pramono Anung continues to communicate and coordinate with the Chairperson of the PDI-P, Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri and other DPP administrators," said the chairman of the PDIP DPP.
