National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said that the TNI and Polri remained solid despite an attack at the Tarakan Police Headquarters by a number of TNI soldiers on Monday, February 24.

"I think Pangdam (Pangdam VI/Mulawarman Major General TNI Rudy Rachmat Nugrah) and Kapolda (North Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Hary Sudwijanto) have taken the necessary steps. TNI and Polri remain solid and continue to work together in guarding and guarding this country," said National Police Chief General Sigit in his statement.

General Pol Sigit emphasized that the incident would not interfere with the good relations between the TNI and Polri as law enforcement officers.

The National Police Chief emphasized that the cooperation that has been established must be further strengthened in various sectors.

It is known that on Monday (24/2) night there was an attack incident at the Tarakan Police Headquarters, North Kalimantan, by a number of TNI soldiers.

Head of Information for Kodam (Kapendam) VI/Mulawarman Colonel Kav. Kristiyanto said that the person involved had undergone an examination.

"An investigation has been carried out on TNI personnel suspected of carrying out an attack, we will convey the results further," he said.

Kapendam said that the soldiers suspected of being involved were members of the Assignment Assistance (BP) of the Battalion 614/RJP Task Force.
