JAKARTA - The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police has clustered four lane categories carried out by traffic engineering management for the 2025 Eid homecoming and reverse flow.

Kakorlantas Inspector General Agus Suryo Nugroho said the implementation of the lane cluster carried out during the 2025 Ketupat Operation was focused on traffic engineering on toll roads, non-toll roads, tourist routes, and ferry ports.

"Because the national road will be heavy when a national (non-toll road) road is enforced when the revival of the current is quite high," Agus said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, February 24.

For toll roads, the arrangements are carried out starting from the entrance to and exit and rest area by looking at existing conditions, such as the narrowing of roads and road repair activities.

Meanwhile, on the ferry port route where there is a potential for a buildup of traffic flow, the scheme used is to coordinate with PT Angkutan Sungai, Lake, and Ferry Indonesia Ferry (ASDP) and Pelindo.

Korlantas has also reviewed the readiness of several port locations, including Ketapang, Bakauheni and Merak.

Some things are reviewed for the port route, namely the volume of vehicles, the mechanism of action, capacity related to traffic and parking routes, and buffer zones.

"After this, we will go to Tanjung Perak to see the engineering system at a later date from Eid, both D-3 and D+3," he said.

Then for the route in tourist areas, Agus explained that this point became the attention of the police, as was Batu City, which is part of the Greater Malang area.

His party directly inspected the route in Batu City to find out the accident-prone points and traffic congestion.

Agus stated that he had asked the East Java Police Traffic Directorate and the Batu Police Traffic Unit to prepare a handling scheme.

"Later, Mr. Kasatlantas and Mr. Dirlantas will prepare a scenario when there is a density of current steps to be taken," he said.
