Bobby Nasution Promises To Advance North Sumatra, Harmonize President Prabowo's Program

North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution and North Sumatra Deputy Governor Surya asked for prayers from the entire community after being officially inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace.

"Thank God, this morning, Surya and I were inaugurated. We will take care of the mandate given to us, God willing. Pray for us," said Bobby Nasution as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, February 20.

He emphasized that he and his representatives would make various efforts to make the region he leads a much better province than before.

According to him, regional progress must also involve all elements of society because it will make it easier to make it happen.

"With full commitment and spirit of collaboration. We will work hard and work smart to build a more advanced, superior and sustainable North Sumatra," he said.

Bobby was officially inaugurated as Governor of North Sumatra by President Prabowo Subianto along with 960 regional heads and other deputy regional heads from the results of the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Elections

The former Mayor of Medan expressed his readiness to complete a number of initiative programs of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.

In addition, the son-in-law of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, stated that he was ready to carry out the duties and mandates given by the community.

"The alignment of the program from the President to North Sumatra will be carried out later," he said.

Being the top leader in North Sumatra with a population of about 15 million people, M. Bobby Afif Nasution and Surya have five main visions and missions.

Their five main visions and missions, namely improving human resources, maintaining macroeconomic stability, improving government governance, developing and managing infrastructure, and strengthening national resilience.
