Elected Regional Head Ready To Be Inaugurated At The Palace Tomorrow

JAKARTA - A number of elected regional heads have stated that they are ready to take part in the inauguration at the State Palace to the National Monument (Monas) on Thursday, February 20 tomorrow, after participating in a clean rehearsal this morning.

The elected regent of West Bandung, Jeje happened to be Ismail or known as Jeje Govinda admitted that he had prepared physical conditions for the inauguration tomorrow.

"(Preparation for the inauguration) is just a lot of rest. Because all activities are busy from the morning. On the 21st, I immediately went to Magelang," Jeje said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, February 19.

He admitted that the inauguration this time was a matter of pride for him. Because for the first time, all regional heads were inaugurated simultaneously in Jakarta.

"This is a matter of pride. This is a record because it has never been in Indonesia's history," said Jeje.

Not only Jeje, the elected Regent of Indramayu Lucky Hakim has also prepared himself for the inauguration until the retreat will be carried out from February 21 to 28 in Magelang.

"It may be more prepared, because we have adaptation. We regents will live in tents, there are a few tents. Practice a little, physical exercise," said Lucky.

Previously, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto revealed that as many as 481 pairs of candidates for head and deputy regional heads elected from the 2024 Pilkada will be inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday (20/2). The inauguration will be held at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta on Thursday starting at 10.00 WIB.

Before undergoing the inauguration, the 481 candidate pairs will follow the briefing by the Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Tomsi Tohir in the National Monument (Monas) area, Jakarta, at 07.00 WIB.

As many as 503 pairs of candidates for head and deputy regional head elected as a result of the 2024 Pilkada will undergo briefing or retret at the Military Academy (Akmil), Magelang, Central Java, on February 21-28, 2025.
