AHY Called Prabowo, Lunch Continues To Discuss Infrastructure At The Palace

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto summoned the Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and a number of related ministers to discuss a number of issues regarding infrastructure.

"Of course we will discuss various issues related to infrastructure," said the man who is familiarly called AHY at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 18, which was confiscated by Antara.

AHY stated that he received an invitation from the President to attend lunch as well as a limited meeting.

He said that apart from himself, five ministers under his coordination were also summoned to attend the limited meeting.

The five ministers in question are the Minister of Transmigration Iftitah Sulaiman Suryanagara, Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of BPN Nusron Wahid, Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi, Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo, and Minister of Housing and Settlement Area Maruarar Sirait.

AHY said the limited meeting was aimed at discussing various infrastructure-related issues and determining priorities that needed to be jointly guarded.

"We want to convey what are the priorities that we must oversee together, I want to bridge, including coordinating five ministries, including other institutions that are certainly closely related to infrastructure," he said.

When asked more specifically about the reports to be submitted to the President, including regarding the construction of the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) and the National Strategic Project (PSN), AHY stated that this would be conveyed after the limited meeting was completed.

"Yes, of course we will discuss it with various related issues. Later I will convey it again," he said.

Meanwhile, Minister of Transportation Dudy said that one of the things that might be discussed in this limited meeting was regarding the preparations for the 2025 Eid Homecoming.

The Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas of Maruarar when he arrived at the Presidential Palace complex only showed a document entitled "Reports Regarding Roadmaps Building and Renovation of 3 Million Houses".

He did not elaborate on the report.

"Later, the meeting will be held first," he said briefly.
