The cooperation agreement for the establishment of a joint venture company was signed by the President Director of Semen Gresik, Muhammad Saifudin with the respective Managing Directors of PT BUMDes in Rembang, Thursday 9 April. The signing was also attended by Rembang Regent Abdul Hafidz and witnessed via video conference by BUMN Minister Erick Thohir, Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, and SIG President Director Hendi Prio Santoso.

Meanwhile, SIG President Director Hendi Prio Santoso explained that the development of BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprises) around the Rembang Factory is a form of the company's commitment to empowering the community's economy through managing village potential.
