Community Development model "This is more sustainable and can serve as a model for other SOEs," said Erick Thohir.

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo revealed that the establishment of this joint venture was part of a community empowerment plan around the Rembang Factory. This is in line with the strategic program of the Central Java Provincial Government in improving the economic welfare of rural communities.

The composition of share ownership in this joint venture is 52 percent shares owned by Semen Gresik and 48 percent shares owned by PT BUMDes jointly, so it is hoped that this will increase the sense of ownership of the community towards the Rembang Factory. This joint venture scheme is also expected to be able to accelerate the entrepreneurial capacity of BUMDes.

Meanwhile, SIG President Director Hendi Prio Santoso explained that the development of BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprises) around the Rembang Factory is a form of the company's commitment to empowering the community's economy through managing village potential.

"Thanks to the support provided by the Central Java Provincial Government, the Rembang Regency Government, the Village Government, and the surrounding community, the operational activities of the Rembang factory can run well so that production volume continues to increase," said Hendi Prio Santoso.
