KPK Summons Hasto Next Week Regarding Allegations Of Bribery And Opportunities For Investigation

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has scheduled an examination of the Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto. He will be questioned next week regarding the alleged bribery of interim replacement management (PAW) and the obstruction of the investigation.

"The information we have received from investigators in the near future will be summoned again to the person concerned," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Friday night, February 14.

"Most likely ... next week," he continued.

Even so, Tessa closed the summons meeting. Likewise, when asked if it had been sent or had not been summoned to Hasto.

Previously reported, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto filed a pretrial against the KPK after being named a suspect in the bribery case for the interim replacement (PAW) of members of the DPR RI and the obstruction of the investigation. The lawsuit was later not accepted by the South Jakarta District Court Tunggal Judge Djumyanto.

"To try, grant the exception of the respondent, declare the petitioner's petition to run away or it is not clear," said Judge Djuyamto during a hearing at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday.

In their consideration, Djuyamto granted the exception submitted by the KPK which objected to the argument of Hasto's lawsuit which objected to the two investigation warrants.

According to the judge, Hasto's petition should have been submitted in two forms of pretrial lawsuit.

"With the absence of this pretrial, Hasto's suspect status by the KPK is legal. "Declare that the applicant's pretrial application is not accepted," said Djuyamto.

Hasto was questioned as a suspect on January 13. He underwent an examination for 3.5 hours and did not have an orange dream.
