Head of BMKG Dwikorita Karnawati said that at first the early warning budget in the midst of the budget efficiency policy was worth IDR 5,642,000,000, then it increased to IDR 191,629,705,175 after the budget reconstruction.

"For the early warning of the earthquake from Rp8.4 billion during the ceiling before reconstruction, it jumped to Rp28,572 billion and also a significant increase was for public services, namely providing information and early warning of weather, climate, earthquake, and tsunami throughout Indonesia through UPT-UPT in 190 BMKG UPTs throughout Indonesia, the original budget was Rp5,642,000,000, this shot up to Rp191 billion," said Dwikorita in a meeting with Commission V DPR RI in Jakarta, Thursday 13 February, confiscated by Antara.

"The last one this morning at 09.00 WIB, BMKG finally got a budget, an increase of around Rp. 400 billion, which was Rp. 1.781 trillion from Rp. 1.045 trillion," he said.
