The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has begun investigating the alleged crime behind the sea fence in the waters of Bekasi Regency, West Java. The investigation was carried out after the ATR/BPN Ministry made an official police report.

"Starting today, the team has carried out investigation efforts," said the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro to reporters, Wednesday, February 12.

First, Article 263 of the Criminal Code concerning the crime of forgery of letters and the use of fake letters. Then, Article 264 of the Criminal Code concerning falsification of authentic deeds, such as marriage certificates, debt securities, and credit certificates. Finally, Article 262 of the Criminal Code concerning forgery and the use of documents.

In investigating the sea fence in Bekasi, investigators began to look for evidence and clues. The goal is to ensure whether there are allegations of criminal acts as reported.

"We have deployed several members, now we are collecting information including evidence that we can use for further processing," said Djuhandani.

Meanwhile, the sea fence stretches for three kilometers in the waters of Segarajaya Village, Tarumajaya District, Bekasi Regency, West Java. The width of the fence area is made of a line of bamboo sticks of about 70 meters.
