Limiting Jozeph Paul Zhang's Space, Police Ask Immigration To Remove His Passport

JAKARTA - The National Police will coordinate with Immigration to revoke Jozeph Paul Zhang's passport. So, he could no longer flee to another country and finally could be secured.

"We are coordinating with Immigration, hopefully our suggestion will be accepted by the Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to revoke the passport concerned," said the Head of Criminal Investigation of the National Police, Komjen Agus Andrianto, to reporters, Tuesday, April 20.

With the revocation of Jozeph Paul Zhang's passport, said Komjen Agus, his space will be limited. So, the Police can map its whereabouts.

Moreover, only a number of countries allow someone to enter without using a passport. In fact, the possibility that Jozeph Paul Zhang will be deported is even greater.

"If you want to go anywhere, you will be secured, potentially for deportation," he said.

Previously reported, the National Police said Jozeph Paul Zhang was last monitored while in Germany. However, its current existence is thought to be in countries adjacent to Germany.

"He left Indonesia last January 11, 2018 via Hong Kong. Then why is it said in Germany, lastly. Because Germany does not need a passport to European countries," said Head of Public Relations Division of the National Police, Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan.

Until now, said Ramadhan, there was no definite information about the whereabouts of Jozeph Paul Zhang alias Shindy Paul Soerjomeoljono. However, Hubinter Porli continues to coordinate with certain parties to find his whereabouts.

"So the certainty can still be traced. Yes, we just wait together, of course the government, including the Police, is very serious about this," he said.
