BOGOR Bogor City Government (Pemkot) is ready to facilitate the change in LPG 3 kg gas retailer status to sub base, according to the central government's latest policy.

Acting (Pj) Mayor of Bogor, Hery Antasari, said that retailers are now allowed to redistribute subsidized LPG while undergoing an institutional process as a sub-base.

Presiden Prabowo Subianto telah memastikan bahwa pencer tetap bisa mendistribusikan LPG 3 kg sambil menjalani proses transisi menuju sub base.

Regarding the implementation of this policy, Hery emphasized that the Bogor City Government is still waiting for technical instructions and implementation instructions from the central government regarding changes in retail status to sub bases.

"What is certain is that the Bogor City Government welcomes this policy and is grateful because retailers can again distribute LPG, so that problems in the field, such as long queues, can be resolved," he said.

Responding to the requirements of the Business Identification Number (NIB) for retailers, Hery stated that this was under the authority of the One Stop Integrated Service and Investment Service (DPMPTSP).

"I will immediately close with the DPMPTSP to formulate concrete steps according to the rules in the issuance of NIB for shops and stalls with retail status," he said.

Hery explained that the latest policy from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) aims to organize the distribution of LPG to make it neater and more transparent.

Under these rules, retailers will have sub-base status, allowing them to enter the official base marketplace system.

"The goal is to make distribution more well-organized. However, of course this requires adjustment," explained Hery.
