Megawati: Save Children Victims Of War For The Future Of World Civilization

The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Megawati Soekarnoputri, emphasized that all parties have a responsibility to protect the future of children around the world, including those who are victims of war in Palestine and Ukraine. According to him, this effort is very important for the sustainability of world civilization.

Megawati made this statement in her remarks at the Unbroken 5P Kids Alliance meeting at the San Salvatore in Lauro Museum, Rome, on Sunday evening. The event was attended by a number of ministers, ambassadors, humanitarian fighters, The Unbroken Kids Alliance activists, as well as children who were victims of war from Palestine and Ukraine.

"I feel very proud and honored to be in this extraordinary forum. We all have a responsibility to safeguard the future of the children, wherever they are, because they are hope for world civilization," Megawati said, quoted from ANTARA, Monday (3/2).

He appreciated the Unbroken Kids Alliance initiative, which he considered a noble humanitarian mission in saving children who were victims of war.

"This effort not only saves children, but also safeguards the future of world civilization," he added.

Megawati also expressed her appreciation to the humanitarian fighters who have contributed to saving future generations.

"We from Indonesia give the highest appreciation to humanitarian fighters. You have all played a major role in saving the world. Children who are victims of war are gems for a better future. They will continue our mission to build a more peaceful and just world," he said.

This meeting is part of a series of World Leaders Summit on Children's Rights events held at the Vatican on Monday (3/2). The Forum will be opened by World Catholic Leader Pope Francis.

Also present at the event were the founder of 5P Global Movement, Arsjad Rasjid, who also gave a speech.

The 5P Global Movement movement focuses on the five main pillars, namely: peace (Peace), Prosperity (Welfare), People (Humans), Planet (Centrality), and Partnership (Mobileship).
