Bags Of The Identity Of The Perpetrator, Cianjur Police Hunt For The Perpetrator Of The Killer Of A Woman In The Tea Gardens

The Cianjur Police, West Java, has pocketed the identity of the perpetrator of the murder of a woman whose body was found at the Gedeh Tea Plantation, Sukamulya Village, Cugenang District. Officers immediately pursued and arrested the perpetrator.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Cianjur Police, AKP Tono Listianto in Cianjur, Wednesday, said that the identity of the perpetrator was revealed after his party asked for information from local residents and tried to trace CCTV cameras in the plantation area.

"We ask the perpetrators to immediately surrender because we have pocketed their identities and now that officers have been deployed to pursue and arrest them, we will take decisive action measured if they fight back," he said.

He explained the identity of the perpetrator, a man aged about 38 years, can be seen from a number of CCTV cameras in the tea garden area and from eyewitness testimony who had seen the perpetrator not far from the location where the body was found.

"We have not been able to reveal the full identity because we are afraid that the perpetrators will run away, but at this time the officers have detected their whereabouts still in Cianjur City, we will immediately arrest them or surrender themselves," he said.

He explained the disclosure of the murder and rape case that happened to Siti Wahyuni (28), a resident of Pasirkuda District, after an autopsy was carried out on the victim's body at the Sayang Cianjur Hospital, where a number of injuries were found on the eyes, hands, stomach, and back.

Before being killed, SW was suspected of having been raped by the perpetrator, because from the results of the examination the officers found traces of sperm on the victim's body and clothes, after an autopsy was carried out, the victim's body was immediately taken to the funeral home in Mekarmulya Village, Pasirkuda District, for burial.

"The results of the autopsy were clear that the victim was raped before being murdered and her body was dumped in a tea plantation until finally it was found by residents on Sunday (26/1)," he said.

The victim's body was immediately taken to the Cianjur Sayang Hospital for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of the death of the victim who was suspected of having been abused before his body was dumped on the edge of the tea garden.
