Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Cianjur Police, AKP Tono Listianto in Cianjur, Wednesday, said that the identity of the perpetrator was revealed after his party asked for information from local residents and tried to trace CCTV cameras in the plantation area.

"We ask the perpetrators to immediately surrender because we have pocketed their identities and now that officers have been deployed to pursue and arrest them, we will take decisive action measured if they fight back," he said.

He explained the identity of the perpetrator, a man aged about 38 years, can be seen from a number of CCTV cameras in the tea garden area and from eyewitness testimony who had seen the perpetrator not far from the location where the body was found.

"We have not been able to reveal the full identity because we are afraid that the perpetrators will run away, but at this time the officers have detected their whereabouts still in Cianjur City, we will immediately arrest them or surrender themselves," he said.
