Khofifah Invites The Community To Take Advantage Of The Potential For East Java Tourism For Family Holidays

The elected Governor of East Java (Jatim) Khofifah Indar Parawansa invited the public to explore East Java's tourism wealth. According to him, East Java has a variety of tourist destinations that are suitable for spending vacation time with family.

"We want to introduce the public that East Java tourism is complete. Not only Bromo or Inspector General and the Batu Tourism City area, but there are also other destinations that are no less interesting," said Khofifah, in Surabaya, Wednesday.

Khofifah herself took advantage of the holiday moment by inviting her grandson, Aila, to enjoy educational tourism at Kurma Park, Pasuruan Regency.

Kurma Park not only presents the experience of picking dates directly from its trees, but also has a mini zoo where children can interact directly with various animals.

"In Pasuruan, for example, we can enjoy Safari Park and the uniqueness of the date palm plantation, see various animals in mini zoo, and of course taste a distinctive culinary delight," said Khofifah.

Khofifah added that natural tourism like this not only offers entertainment, but also has educational value.

Children can learn more about ecosystems, the importance of protecting the environment, and gain new experiences that enrich their insights.

In addition to nature tourism, he also said, East Java is also known as a culinary paradise. Khofifah said that various special dishes of East Java were also able to pamper the tongue because it was famous for being delicious and rich in spices.

Culinary in East Java is very diverse and always appetizing. Each region has its own characteristics, and this is also part of the tourism attraction that we need to continue to develop," he said again.

With the development of various tourist destinations in East Java, Khofifah hopes that the tourism sector can be the main driver of regional economic growth.

"We want to invite the public to explore the beauty and uniqueness of East Java tourism. There is no need to go all the way out of the country, because here we have everything," he said.

With the increasingly diverse tourism potential, Khofifah is optimistic that East Java can become one of the leading destinations in Indonesia that offers a complete experience for local and foreign tourists.
