Families Of Victims Of Mutilation Want To Meet The Perpetrators, Curious About The Problem

JAKARTA - The families of the victims of UK mutilation (29) in Ngawi, East Java want to meet with the perpetrators just to find out what problems behind the insult.

"The family wants to meet the perpetrator and ask directly regarding the problems between the perpetrator and his son so that they kill, and even mutilate his son. Want me to go there, meet him. Just want to ask what the problem is," said the victim's stepfather, Hendi Suprapto, quoting ANTARA, Sunday, January 26, 2025.

His party is still saddened by the incident that happened to his stepson. The family gave up completely related to the legal process to the police.

He also said his stepson was a good figure. The person concerned is also the backbone of the family. His two children are also still in school.

"In terms of personality, he is the backbone of the family. He is a good child. He often goes home, he can go home twice to three times, the main thing is that there is free time when the child is playing here (his mother's house in Sidodadi Village, Garum District, Blitar Regency)," he said.

He added that the family also often communicated with the deceased.

He admitted that he last communicated last Saturday, January 18, then. On Tuesday, January 21, communication with family was lost.

The family, he said, tried to contact via WhatsApp, but couldn't. In fact, usually the person concerned when contacted in his spare time must reply or immediately call back.

"Until the evening there was no news. Until two days there was no (news)," he said.

The case began with the discovery of a woman's body in a headless suitcase on Thursday, January 23 in Dadapan Village, Kendal District, Ngawi Regency.

The woman's body was not intact when found. His body was placed in a suitcase covered in red and wrapped like a package.

Residents who were curious about the suitcase then opened it and it was seen that a half-naked human body was starting to rot. The discovery was reported to the police.

When found, the body was incomplete. The victim's body was placed in a headless suitcase. Then the left leg starts with no groin and the right leg starts with no knee.

The police also conducted an autopsy on the victim's body. The autopsy results stated that the cause of death of the victim was suspected to be due to lack of breath due to obstructed airways, possibly due to strangulation.

In addition to lack of breath, the victim is also suspected of experiencing violence before he died.

The police also managed to arrest the suspect, the perpetrator of the mutilation on Saturday (25/1) night around 24.00 WIB.

The police also managed to find other missing parts of the victim's body, namely the head on the edge of the Slawe Village bridge, Watulimo District, Trenggalek at around 08.00 WIB.

Then for other pieces of the body in the form of feet were found in Sampung Village, Ponorogo was wrapped in plastic.

Officers also visited a hotel in Kediri that was suspected of being the location of the victim staying before being found dead and dismembered.
