Fulfill Prabowo's Target Regarding MBG Distribution, Tens Of Thousands Of MSMEs Will Be Involved

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto targets the distribution of Free Nutrition Food (MBG) at 30,000 points throughout Indonesia. Therefore, to meet this target, around 30,900 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are likely to be involved. "There are approximately 30,900 MSMEs engaged in catering services, potentially being involved in this free nutritious meal," said the Minister of MSMEs, Maman Abdurrahman in Jakarta, Saturday, January 25. According to him, based on data, there are 2.9 million culinary entrepreneurs in Indonesia, of which 49 percent are managed by women. So, it is hoped that this number can meet the target of Prabowo Subianto regarding the distribution of Free Nutrition Food. "Of course, with this large and extraordinary target point, it cannot be carried out by one person or two people. This requires cooperation, coordination, and collaboration of all parties," he said.

In addition, Maman also conveyed that the involvement of MSMEs in the Free Nutrition Food program will have a positive impact on many parties. Not only program recipients but also business actors. "The free nutritious food program provides a positive impact that can of course be enjoyed by all activists and MSME entrepreneurs, especially in increasing MSME income and local economic empowerment," said Maman.
