The Body Of A Woman In A Red Suitcase In Ngawi, A Victim Of Mutilation, Is Still A Mystery

JAKARTA - The Ngawi Police, East Java suspected that the body of a woman found in a red suitcase around a garbage disposal site in Dadapan Village, Kendal District, Ngawi Regency, East Java was a victim of mutilation and murder.

"The victim is mutilation, maybe. However, we are still investigating this finding case further," said Ngawi Police Chief AKBP Dwi Sumrahadi Rakhmanto as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 23.

According to him, the allegation was seen from the condition of the victim's body, which when found by residents was incomplete, some of his limbs were incomplete.

"As a result of the external examination, the victim is female, there is a body, but the head is not there. Then the left leg starts with no groin and the right leg starts to no knee," he said.

His party is still investigating the case further. Including looking for parts of the victim's body that may be around the location of the discovery.

A resident of Babadan Village, Kendal District, Ngawi, was previously shocked by the discovery of a woman's body in a suitcase on Thursday.

The woman's body was found by residents in a red closed suitcase wrapped like a package. Residents who were curious about the suitcase then opened it and found that a human body almost naked was starting to rot. Residents then reported to the Kendal Police.

In addition to the bodies and red suitcases, sheets of striped motifs and a pair of women's sandals were also found.
