JAKARTA - Director of Democracy and Electoral Empowerment Partnership (DEEP) Indonesia, Neni Nur Hayati revealed that the cause of the level of public satisfaction with the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government in the first 100 days was quite high.

According to Neni, in these 3 months, Prabowo still prioritizes populist policies, ranging from free nutritious food (MBG), free health checks, to the continued distribution of social assistance in his government.

"That impact can be felt directly by the people below. Of course, I hope that the government's priority is of course not only in mere imaging, but also how to build substance," Neni said in a discussion in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Thursday, January 23.

In addition, Prabowo is also considered to be able to maintain a conducive political situation after the 2024 Simultaneous Elections and Regional Head Elections.

"If we compare it in Pak Jokowi's era, for example, 2014 or then in the 2019 election, polarization is very strong and it is then prolonged," said Neni.

From this condition, Prabowo needs to maintain his political commitment as head of state to prioritize the interests of the community in his future government.

"Of course, how then the commitment was made, by opening a communication space with civil society, which must of course be maintained there is any input, then criticism, it can also be conveyed directly," he explained.

For information, a number of surveys revealed the level of public satisfaction with the 100 days of Prabowo-Gibran's performance above 80 percent.

In the explanation of the National Survey Institute (LSN), as many as 87.5 percent of the public stated that they were satisfied with the level of public satisfaction with the performance of the Prabowo-Gibran Government. This survey was conducted on 1,200 respondents with a margin of error of 2.87 percent.

Of the factors that affect public satisfaction, the highest satisfaction is in the free health check program, which is 88.2 percent. Then, the 7 Great Indonesian Children's Habits program was 87.9 percent.

Meanwhile, based on the Kompas Research and Development survey, public satisfaction with the 100 days of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka's administration reached 80.9 percent, while 19.1 percent said they were dissatisfied.

The Kompas Research and Development Survey was conducted on January 4-10, 2025, with a face-to-face interview method of 1,000 respondents in 38 provinces of Indonesia.
