JAKARTA - A 4-story house produced by Free Nutrition Food (MBG) for government programs in the Setu area, Cipayung, East Jakarta, caught fire. The burned area is the kitchen of the house where people are processing food, MBG.

The process of extinguishing the fire was carried out using a makeshift fire extinguisher. But the flames continued to grow.

"Earlier there was a short circuit from the cable, because we were repairing the cable. At 5 o'clock, the employee took a break. So the short circuit was there, there were sparks between the cables," said the owner of the house, Sujarwo, to reporters, Tuesday, January 21.

The fire was extinguished only 1 hour later with 15 fire engines. There were no casualties or injuries from the fire.

"Posisi di lantai 3 ke 4, tidak ada orang sama sekali. APAR ada 13 unit tapi tidak mampu, kita langsung kontak damkar," ujarnya.

"We are currently preparing food delivery for government programs, school children. Catering for weddings and government programs for school children," he said.

This incident was under investigation by the Cipayung Sector Police, East Jakarta.
