Ministry Of Defense Ensures Sanctions For Its ASN Using Official Cars Involved In Accidents Injure 4 People In Palmerah

JAKARTA - Head of the Defense Information Bureau of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Defense (Kemhan) Brigadier General Frega Ferdinand Wenas Inkiriwang ensured that the Ministry of Defense's state civil apparatus (ASN) who used official cars and was involved in a car accident injured four people at Bintang Mas Market, Palmerah, West Jakarta, will be given sanctions.

"The Ministry of Defense's Security Service has also carried out an internal investigation in coordination with related parties and will give strict sanctions if violations are found by members of the Ministry of Defense," Frega said in a press statement, Tuesday, January 21, which was confiscated by Antara.

The four residents who were victims of accidents to date are still in the healing process and will continue to be accompanied by the Ministry of Defense.

"Currently, four injured victims have been treated at Pelni Hospital and Bhakti Mulia Petamburan Hospital. The Ministry of Defense continues to provide assistance to the victims as a form of concern and monitor the development of the victim's condition at all times," said Frega.

Previously, the Kijang Innova Ministry of Defense official car hit a pedestrian in the Palmerah area, West Jakarta, on Monday, January 20 at 00.45 WIB.

The video of the incident after the accident went viral on social media. It was revealed that the driver of the car was MS (24) who works as an ASN or civil servant (PNS) at the Ministry of Defense.

Frega has also confirmed this. "In response to viral news on social media regarding the traffic accident at the Ministry of Defense Noreg. 6504-00, the vehicle really belongs to members of the Ministry of Defense civil servants," he said.

Until now, the civil servant involved in the accident is still undergoing internal examination by the Ministry of Defense.
