JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government plans to build two flyovers or flyovers in Jakarta with a budget allocation of IDR 494.46 billion. The flyover will be built on Jalan Prof. Dr. Latumeten, West Jakarta, and Jalan Bintaro Puspita Raya, South Jakarta.

Head of the Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) of the DKI Jakarta Highways Agency, Wiwik Wahyuni, said that the construction of the two flyovers had been planned since 7 years ago.

"Around the plan of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Highways Office to build 2 flyovers by 2025, the planning is in the form of basic designs that have been carried out in 2018," Wiwik told VOI, Monday, January 20.

Budgeting for the Latumeten Flyover and Bintaro Puspita, continued Wiwik, uses a multi-year scheme, which is sourced from the 2025 and 2026 APBDs.

The construction of these two new Flyovers is expected to make people more comfortable accessing roads to support various activities.

"Currently, the Bina Marga Office is conducting an auction process for the Construction Management Consultant who will work together to prepare the design review process and preparation for the physical procurement of Flyover Latumenten and Flyover Bintaro Puspita," said Wiwik.

This flyover construction work is contained in the Public Plan Information System for the Procurement of Goods and Services Procurement Policy Institutions (LKPP Sirup).

The Latumeten flyover will be built near a mental hospital on Jalan Latumeten and crosses the railroad tracks. This flyover was built on the east side of the 440.86 meter long road and the west side along the 439.23 meter.

In the construction of the Latumiteten Flyover, the budget allocation was IDR 350.18 billion with funds allocated from the 2025 APBD amounting to IDR 69.07 billion and the 2026 APBD IDR 281.11 billion.

Meanwhile, the construction of the Bintaro Puspita Flyover will be built along 441 meters and pass the railroad crossing in the Bintaro area.

The Bina Marga Office designed a source of funds for the construction of the Bintaro Puspita Flyover amounting to Rp144.27 billion, which was divided into the 2025 APBD amounting to RP42.99 billion and the 2026 APBD Rp101.28 billion.

The method of selecting the construction of the two flyovers is in the form of tenders. The DKI Provincial Government does not invite small, micro and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to participate in the construction tender process.

The DKI Provincial Government has scheduled the selection of the Flyover Latumeten construction provider and the Bintaro Puspita Flyover, each conducted in May-August 2024 and continued in the contract implementation from August 2025 to October 2026. Meanwhile, the use of goods/procurement services is planned for December 2026.
