Police Still Identify Bodies Of Glodok Plaza Fire

Polda Metro Jaya said the forensic medical team was still carrying out an identification process related to the bodies of the fire victims that occurred at Glodok Plaza, Tamansari, West Jakarta, on Wednesday (15/1).

"All the bodies are still in the identification process. Then, the forensic medical team is still carrying out activities, still working, please take time, in the process of identifying the bodies," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, January 18.

Ade Ary said, based on the results of communication with the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, that until Friday (17/1) night, the Police Hospital had received as many as seven bodies.

"Then we also ask for prayers from all colleagues, so that the Police Hospital can immediately reveal the identities of all the bodies that are currently being identified and can be immediately handed back to their families for further a proper funeral procession by their families," he explained.

He also explained that the Puslabfor Bareskrim Polri team would immediately conduct a laboratory examination or checking and processing of the crime scene to conduct an in-depth investigation, an investigation to reveal the cause of the fire.

"Later in the near future, if the results of communication with related parties show that the crime scene is cold, then the search process is still being carried out at the TKP, then a laboratory examination will be carried out or TKP checks and processing will be carried out by the National Police Criminal Investigation Center," said Ade Ary.

Until now, there have been seven bodies that have been successfully evacuated to the Police Hospital, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.

Meanwhile, 14 people were reported missing in the fire, namely Ade Aryati (29), Sinta Amelia (20), Aldrinas (29), Aulia Belinda (28), Osima Yukari (25) and Deri Saiki (25).

In addition, Indira Seviana Bela (25), Keren SALom J (21), Intan Mutiara (26), Desty and Zukhi Radja (42), Chika Adinda Yustin (26), Muljadi (56) and Dian Cahyadi (38).
