The Attorney General's Office Has Examined The Surabaya District Court Registrar Who Received 10,000 SGD In The Ronald Tannur Case

JAKARTA - The clerk of the Surabaya District Court, Siswanto, is suspected of having also received 10,000 Singapore dollars or SGD in the case of alleged bribery and gratification of Gregorius Ronald Tannur's acquittal. The Attorney General's Office (AGO) said it had examined him.

The Head of the Attorney General's Office, Harli Siregar, said that Siswanto was being investigated in a case with three judges at the Surabaya District Court, namely, Erintuah Damanik, Mangapul and Heru Hanindyo.

"The person concerned for the case of 3 judges has been investigated," said Harli to VOI, Friday, January 17.

However, it was not explained about the examination material, including whether investigators were involved in exploring the alleged receipt of the Singapore dollar.

Harli only said that Siswanto had not yet been investigated in the case of the former chairman of the Surabaya District Court, Rudi Suparmono. So, it is possible that the clerk will be summoned for questioning.

"But not yet in the hospital case. Maybe it has not been scheduled, because the determination of the suspect has just been determined," said Harli.

Previously, the Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General's Office (Kejagung), Abdul Qohar, stated that investigators would investigate the alleged recipient. If sufficient evidence is found later, it is possible that Siswanto will be named a suspect.

"However, we continue to develop it if the evidence is sufficient, it is possible that anyone involved in this case will be named a suspect," he said.

Qohar said that so far, the alleged receipt of money by Siswanto was still based on witness testimony. So, investigators are still looking for other evidence.

"However, I underline based on witness testimony, we just have witness testimony but we will still investigate it," he said.
