Hadi said the arrest began with public information about suspicious activities allegedly related to narcotics trafficking on Jalan Pematangsiantar, Pematang Siantar City.
North Sumatra Police Narcotics Directorate personnel conducted an investigation, then arrested 15 perpetrators who were transacting methamphetamine.
"Based on AN's statement, the evidence was obtained from HG. The police then carried out developments and arrested HG in a house on Jalan Pematangsiantar," said Hadi.

The police also arrested a local resident, MS, who was suspected of obstructing the officers when he brought the two perpetrators.
The confiscated evidence has been examined using a narcotics test kit, while the perpetrators and witnesses are in the process of further interrogation.
