YOGYAKARTA - Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X confirmed that his meeting with the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo at the Kilen Palace, Yogyakarta, this morning did not discuss political issues.
"No (political discussion), just private," said Sultan HB X to the media crew after holding a closed meeting with Jokowi for about 1.5 hours at his residence as reported by Antara.
The King of the Yogyakarta Palace confirmed that Jokowi's arrival to his residence was only to stay in touch and be private. When asked by the media about the contents of the conversation with Jokowi, Sultan was reluctant to reveal.
"Yes, it can't be (disclosed) please. Wong is private. Yes, I don't want to have any comments. Yes, just friendship," said Sultan.
Previously, the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo arrived at the Kilen Palace on Wednesday (15/1) at around 08.51 WIB in a black car with license plate number B 1568 AZC and left the location at around 10.23 WIB.
