Nelan Lost On Situbondo Beach Found Dead With Feet Wrapped In Fish Nets

JAKARTA - The SAR team combined with Situbondo, East Java, found the body of a fisherman named Tubrani (37) who was declared missing the day before while catching fish on the beach.

The Commander of the SAR Operations Team from the Jember SAR Post Basarnas oversees Situbondo, Jefri, as a resident of Sumberkolak Village, Panarukan District, was found on Pathek Beach, not far from the scene.

"The victim who was declared missing since Sunday (January 12) was found dead about 700 meters from the scene," he said in Situbondo, Monday, January 13, which was confiscated by Antara.

When found, said Jefri, the victim's fish net was wrapped around Tubrani's legs. The victim's chest also found bruises.

"The victim has been taken to the morgue of dr. Abdoer Rahem Situbondo Hospital and then handed over to the victim's family," he said.

Previously, Tubrani was reported missing by her family because she had not returned home to look for fish using a net on Pathek Beach, Duwet Village, Panarukan District.

The victim said goodbye to his wife on Saturday 11 January and usually Sunday 12 January had gone home, but until 13:00 WIB he had not yet returned.

On the first day it was declared missing, the joint SAR team conducted a sweep around the beach where the victim caught fish.

At the time of the incident, the family went to the place where the victim caught fish, but did not find Tubrani, only the victim's motorbike was parked about 50 meters from the shoreline.
