BTS Tiang Suddenly Collapsed In Sawah Besar, Road Access Was Interrupted

JAKARTA - Pole Base Transceiver Station (BTS) on Jalan Mangga Besar, RT 08/10, Mangga Dua Selatan Village, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta, suddenly collapsed, Sunday, January 12, 2025.

"The cause is suspected to be because the BTS pole is overloaded, so the connecting bolts at the pole are broken," said the Central Jakarta Damkar picket officer.

As a result of the collapse of the BTS pole, traffic access around the location had stalled. "Tiang BTS closed the access to Jalan Mangga Besar," he said.

The collapsed BTS pole is not far from the Gunung Sahari pump house, Central Jakarta. There were no casualties or injuries due to the collapse of the BTS pole. Meanwhile, the collapse of the BTS pole has been successfully evacuated by members of the DKI Jakarta Gulkarmat.
