Motorcyclist Hit By Transjakarta Electric Bus In Pulogadung, Victim Enters Kolong

JAKARTA - A Rafli motorcyclist (24) was hit by a Transjakarta electric bus on Jalan Pemuda, to be precise in front of Antam Hospital, Jatinegara Kaum Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta, Sunday, January 12, afternoon.

The victim was injured because he was caught under a Transjakarta bus. The incident occurred at around 12:35 WIB.

"The car was hit by a speeding car, then the motorcyclist fell and entered under an electric busway," said East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept.

The victims were successfully evacuated by 4 personnel from the East Jakarta firefighters.

"One traffic accident victim was evacuated from the position under the electric busway," he said.

The accident began when the motorbike driven by the victim was about to turn around, then hit by a speeding Transjakarta bus.

The motorcyclist fell and got under an electric Transjakarta bus. The evacuation process was completed at around 13.00 WIB.

The victim was then taken to Antam Hospital for treatment.
