Coordinating Minister Yusril Calls The Regional Head's Plan To Undergo Treatment After Being Inaugurated Like The Red And White Cabinet

Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration and Corrections (Menko Kumham Imipas) Yusril Ihza Mahendra said the plan of regional heads to undergo treatment was inaugurated "as was done by the Red and White Cabinet (KMP)" to synchronize with the central government.

"There needs to be synchronization between the central government and local governments, as well as the President's wish that all regional heads will be collected as before. Ministers, deputy ministers and heads of agencies are collected in Magelang, so that we have the same perspective," said Yusril at the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Friday, January 10.

Regional heads elected as a result of the 2024 Pilkada will be sworn in simultaneously, after the Constitutional Court has completed the entire regional election dispute / lawsuit.

Yusri said that synchronization between regional leaders and the central government was needed, because regional governments would eventually also be an extension from the central government to carry out regional programs.

Even so, Yusril said there had been no discussion whether the retreat would be carried out in the same location or not with the KMP location to strengthen coordination, namely in Tidar Hill, Magelang.

The retreat is one of the ways for Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to improve coordination and integrity of members of the Red and White Cabinet during his leadership period.

Shortly after the KMP was enacted, on October 24-27, 2024, all cabinet members took treatment in the Military Academy (akmil) area, Magelang, Central Java.

Regarding coordination with local governments using a similar method, when closing the 2024 Central Government and Regional Government National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas), Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka proposed to the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian that this annual routine meeting could be held at the location of the Military Academy (Akmil), Magelang, Central Java.

"This may be the Minister of Home Affairs, maybe next year we will move the coordination meeting to Akmil, Akmil Magelang," said Gibran closing the 2024 National Coordination Meeting which took place at Sentul International Convention Center (SICC), Bogor, West Java, Thursday (7/11/2024).

Gibran suggested that the National Coordination Meeting in Akmil Magelang could take longer than the previous treatment carried out by the Red and White Cabinet.

"Yesterday we had three days, but maybe for regional heads, it's a minimum of five days," said the Deputy Head of State.

Gibran believes that the unification of vision for regional leaders is important so that the policies taken by them as regulators can be right on target.

Thus, these rules can achieve the targets of priority programs that have been planned by President Prabowo Subianto towards Indonesia Gold 2045.

"It's important, ladies, once again, let everyone synergize, one vision, one mission for Indonesia Gold," said Gibran.
