JAKARTA - The Government of Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara Province has tightened the issuance of permits for Eid or Idul Fitri 1442 Hijriah leaves for ASN (state civil servants) and government employees to support the implementation of the central government's prohibition of homecoming policies.
"For leave permits, we limit five percent of each work unit. If one work unit has 20 ASN, only one person can apply for leave", said Assistant III for General Administration of the Regional Secretariat of Mataram City, Baiq Evi Ganevia in Mataram, reported by Antara, Friday, April 16.
She explained that according to Government Regulation Number 11 of 2017 concerning the management of civil servants and government employees with a yearly work agreement, they are entitled to 12 working days leave and the granting of leave permits must be limited to a maximum of five percent of employees in each work unit.
"So if this year there is a policy to ban Eid homecoming, then we will tighten the issuance of leave permits by existing regulations", she said.
She reminded all leaders of OPD (Regional Apparatus Organizations) to enforce the leave regulations.
"So the one who knows exactly how many employees are allowed to take leave and are given recommendations is the OPD leader. If there is already a recommendation from the OPD leader, we just have to accept it", he said.
Evi said that the city government plans to submit a letter of appeal to follow up on the central government policy regarding the ban on going home.
"Now we directly appeal to it first, as initial information to guard the policy of prohibiting homecoming", she said.
