JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 2 Dharma Pongrekun congratulated the pair Pramono Anung and Rano Karno who were appointed governors-Deputy Governor of Jakarta elected in the Jakarta Pilkada.

This was expressed in his remarks at the plenary meeting to determine the elected candidate pair for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta held by the General Election Commission (KPU) of DKI Jakarta.

"I congratulate Mas Pram and Bang Doel, the original Betawi child according to the film Si Doel, a Betawi child. Congratulations once again, I respect, I am sincere about what has happened," said Dharma at the Pullman Hotel, Jakarta. West, Thursday, January 9th.

Dharma asked Pramono-Rano (Doel) to keep Jakarta's air clean and unpolluted. In fact, Dharma is ready to help clean Jakarta's air. Because, according to him, there was air pollution engineering that occurred in Jakarta.

"I know who pollutes the weather in Jakarta so that it always rains but it's not evenly distributed. There is poison in the air, sir. I have to tell you. What is the goal? So that many are hospitalized," said Dharma.

Dharma hopes that the aspirations of the people entrusted to him can be considered by Pramono-Rano to formulate policies in the next five years of government, including concerns regarding air pollution engineering.

"I dare say this. I apologize to the Bawaslu KPU, Kapolda, Pangdam and everything here, the Provincial Information Commission, this March concerns the safety of our family's souls," he explained.

The KPU has officially appointed Pramono Anung and Rano Karno as the elected Governors of Jakarta in the 2024 Pilkada. This was stated in a plenary meeting to determine the elected candidate pair for the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election in 2024.

This is stated in the Decree of the DKI Jakarta KPU Number 9 of 2025 concerning the Determination of the Candidate Pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of the Elected Province of the Special Region of Jakarta in 2024 which was read by the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta KPU Wahyu Dinata.

"Determining the candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of the Special Region of Jakarta Number 3 Str. Dr. Ir. Pramono Anung Wibowo, MM and Sdr. H. Rano Karno, SIP (Si Doel) with 2,183,239 votes or 50.07% of the total valid votes, as the elected candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of the Special Region of Jakarta for the period 2025-2030 in the Election of Governor and Deputy Governor of the Special Region of Jakarta Province in 2024," Wahyu said.

Wahyu said that the appointment of the elected candidate pair for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta will take effect from the date of stipulation, namely Thursday, January 9, 2025.
