Cases Of Obscenity Of 30 Children In Ciledug Have Not Been Revealed, Police Have Difficulty Arresting Perpetrators

TANGERANG - The police are pursuing Ustaz W (40) who is suspected of molesting dozens of children in the Ciledug area, Tangerang City.

Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho said he was pursuing the Ustaz with the initials W.

He admitted that at that time his party received a report on December 23, 2024, that it had examined a number of witnesses and summoned the reported. However, until now, the ustaz has disappeared or fled from his home.

"We (the police, ed) have summoned the alleged perpetrator with the initials W (40) twice, namely on December 27, 2024 and December 30, 2024, but the alleged reported party was not present," said Zain in his statement, Thursday, January 9.

Zain admitted that his party did not know the whereabouts of the perpetrator after fleeing after the summons was made.

"Until now, members are still pursuing it. However, the whereabouts of the perpetrators are still unknown," he said.

He also asked for prayers to the public so that the perpetrators would be immediately arrested and further action would be taken regarding the legal case that ensnared him.

"We will immediately secure prayers and support and conduct a more in-depth examination," he said.

Previously, Ustaz's alleged sexual abuse and sodomy with the initials W were allegedly experienced by dozens of recitation children. Information said that the victim was suspected of reaching 30 boys.

The witness and at the same time the victim's initials F said that the alleged perpetrator carried out his action at a taklim assembly, a house that was used as a place for teaching and learning.

"Based on the records, there are 30 people. If you count from my friends (victims)," F told VOI, Friday, December 27.

F revealed that the perpetrators had committed the depraved act since 2000. The average victim is elementary school (SD) and junior high school (SMP) students.

"Initially, none of the victims dared to speak up," he said.
