KPK Verifies Raffi Ahmad's Wealth Report

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said Raffi Ahmad, who is currently the Presidential Special Envoy for the Development of the Young Generation and Art Workers, had submitted a report on the assets of state administrators (LHKPN). He has carried out his obligations.

"Brother Raffi Ahmad has reported his LHKPN. Currently, the verification process is still being carried out," said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo in a written statement, Wednesday, January 8.

Budi said verification was carried out to ensure Raffi's assets as a mandatory report had been attached entirely to the LHKPN. "After completion it will be published," he said.

As previously reported, the KPK revealed that only 72 percent of members of the Red and White Cabinet submitted reports on the assets of state administrators (LHKPN). The data was entered as of Tuesday, January 7.

In detail, at the ministerial level/head of the new ministerial-level institution 44 out of a total of 55 are required to report submitting LHKPN.

Meanwhile, representatives or at the rank of deputy minister are 38 out of 57 obliged to report who carry out their obligations. Meanwhile, only 8 of the 15 special envoys reported their wealth.

The KPK reminded officials in President Prabowo Subianto's cabinet to immediately report their assets. This obligation should be completed on January 21 or three months after they are sworn in.
