Pulogebang Residents Complain That Free Nutritious Eating Menu, Bumil And Toddlers Are Often Equated

JAKARTA - Pulogebang resident, Cakung District, East Jakarta complained about the free nutritious food menu provided by the government to the community.

The complaint relates to the request for a differentiator on the dining menu given to IVF (Baliita) and Pregnant Women (Bumil) at Posyandu Tunas Harapan Satu, Pulogebang.

As is known, the free nutritious food menu is a flagship program from the President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) Prabowo Subianto and Deputy Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

A total of 67 nutritious food packages have been distributed through the Pulogebang Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG). The distribution of nutritious food in this area has been carried out for three days.

According to the Chairman of Posyandu Tunas Harapan Satu, Sumarmi, there needs to be a difference in the menu given to Balita and Bumil.

Because the menu given to Bumil is actually considered less attractive to the Toddlers.

"I hope and suggest that vegetables for toddlers are given variations and should not be equated with adults," he said on Wednesday, January 8.

He said the difference was in the portion of side dishes and rice given to pregnant women more than toddlers.

"For toge, tempeh, children don't like it. On average it's like that but sometimes there are carrots too so it's a coincidence," he said.

Then add an additional menu in the form of one chicken egg for Bumil. The nutritious food packages are served for 13 pregnant women, five breastfeeding mothers, and 49 Toddlers.

"If the menu is different, pregnant women have additional chicken eggs with a larger or more portion because it contains, but the vegetables seem the same," he said.

Meanwhile, Siti (38), one of the residents who has toddlers and gets a nutritious food program, suggested that the vegetable toge and tempe menu be replaced with carrots or cauliflower.

"Most of the vegetables, vegetables are vegetables and tempeh, and small children don't like vegetables, they seem less interested, usually the most corn carrots continue to be like cauliflower," he said.
