Accept The Invitation To Determine The Elected Governors And Deputy Governors, Doel: This Is What We Are Waiting For

JAKARTA - Candidates for Deputy Governor of Jakarta to be elected in the 2024 Pilkada, Rano Karno or Doel confirmed that they would attend the plenary meeting of the elected Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta held by the General Election Commission (KPU) of DKI Jakarta.

He conveyed this after receiving an invitation to determine the elected Governors and Deputy Governors of Jakarta which were given directly by the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta KPU Wahyu Dinata and his staff.

"God willing, the determination of the 9th, and surely, I will attend, because coincidentally on the 12th, God willing, I will perform Umrah," said Doel at his residence, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, Tuesday, January 7.

Doel admitted that he had been waiting for this elected regional head pair determination activity. According to him, this is a sign of his official victory and Pramono Anung in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"This is part of the last trip, from this regional election, this is what we are really waiting for. We don't ask when we will be sworn in, but this determination for us is one certainty that one phase has been completed and we are facing another phase," he said.

The DKI Jakarta KPU has determined the appointment of the elected Governors of Jakarta on Thursday, January 9 at the Pullman Hotel, Central Park, West Jakarta.

The DKI KPU has delivered direct invitations to the elected Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung to his residence in South Cipete, South Jakarta. The leadership of the DKI KPU itself who directly delivered the invitation to Pramono and Doel.

"Our agenda is to deliver (the invitation) while ensuring Bang Doel is present. Mas Pram yesterday we came to make sure he was present, God willing, Bang Doel will be present," said Wahyu.

The DKI KPU has also sent invitations to other candidate pairs in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election, namely Ridwan Kamil, Suswono, Dharma Pongrekun, and Kun Wardana.

Initial intentions, the DKI KPU wanted to meet RK directly in Bandung, West Java. However, Wahyu admitted that finally the invitation was entrusted to Suswono because RK could not be found.

"Earlier before going to Bang Doel, we went to Pak Suswono, coincidentally Mr. RK still had an assignment. Mr. Suswono ensured that Mr. RK was present, even if he was not present, Mr. Suswono would attend. Mr. Dharma Pongrekun, God willing, with Mr. Kun wardana, he will attend, including the relevant stakeholders," he explained.
