KPK Searches Hasto's House, PDIP: Transfer Of Jokowi's Issues Finalist For Corrupted Figures

PDI-P Spokesperson (PDIP) Mohamad Guntur Romli assessed that the search of the house of PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto was carried out as a diversion of issues related to the 7th President Joko Widodo who was included in the list of corrupt figures in the world.

"The search of the house of PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto by the KPK in Bekasi, for us, is an effort to divert issues from the OCCRP announcement that places Jokowi as the most corrupt finalist in the world in 2024," Guntur said in his statement, Tuesday, January 7.

Guntur admitted that he received information that Jokowi was currently disturbed and angry with the announcement of the Organization Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) regarding the finalists of the corrupt figure. Jokowi, said Guntur, tried everything to cover it up with the deployment of buzzers and intimidation.

"There is a news portal that is intimidated to remove the news. The deployment of buzzers on social media to discredit OCCRP and those who support the announcement of OCCRP is continued by law enforcement to immediately examine allegations of corruption and money laundering Jokowi and his family," said Guntur.

The KPK searched Hasto Kristiyanto's house today, Tuesday, January 7. The search was related to the alleged bribery of the interim replacement (PAW) of the DPR RI and the obstruction of the investigation that ensnared the Secretary General of PDIP.

"That's right, currently there is an active search carried out by investigators for the case with the suspect HK," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika to reporters.

Previously reported, the KPK has named PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto and Donny Tri Istiqomah as PDIP cadres and lawyers as suspects in alleged bribery related to interim shifts (PAW) for members of the DPR RI.

They are suspected of participating in bribing former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan to smooth Harun Masiku's move to become a member of the council.

In addition, Hasto is also a suspect in the obstruction of the investigation. He is suspected of carrying out a number of ways to make the case unfinished, one of which asked Harun to destroy his cellphone and run away after the hand arrest operation (OTT) was held.

In this case, Hasto and Donny have not been detained but have been prevented from leaving the country for six months. The same prohibition also applies to the former Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) of the era of President Joko Widodo, Yasonna H Laoly.
